It is expected that students will speak only English at all times in the school

Class size update April 2022

As a measure to meet rising costs, without increasing our prices, our maximum class size has been increased slightly to 8 students per class, from 25.04.2022

Cancelations

More than three weeks before course commencement: full refund (less any non-refundable deposits placed)*

14-21 days before: 50% refund of the total after any non-refundable deposit

8-13 days before: 30% refund of the total after any non-refundable deposit

Less than 8 days – no refund

For One-to-One Lessons, Corrib English will always endeavour to re-schedule a class if enough notice is given (suitable notice = more than 72 hours, not including weekends). However, this is at the discretion of Corrib English, as there may be factors which prevent rescheduling.

*For all bookings, the first €100 is considered to be a non-refundable deposit. For package bookings, a deposit must be placed on each component of the package

Documentation

Corrib English will provide a receipt for all transactions. Any further documentation required by students in relation to the course is chargeable, beginning at €5 per document

Covid-19

Students are expected to adhere to the new norms of Covid-19 preventative measures. Hands should be washed and/or sanitized before class. Students should bring tissues to class and practice good respiratory hygiene. As we enter this period of personal responsibility, students should show utmost consideration to others if they feel unwell, which may mean remaining absent from class. Students should consider wearing a facemask if they are displaying any symptoms of cold or flu

Red weather warnings

From time-to-time, the Irish government may issue ‘Red weather warnings’ which result in school closures (1 day in 2021, zero days in 2022). Corrib English cannot guarantee the rescheduling of these enforced closures
