Paddy is the founder and director of Corrib English with over 12 years of English Language teaching experience and he loves what he does. He believes that learning a language should be a dynamic and fun experience and recognises that learners need to be motivated and encouraged. He started Corrib English in 2014 as he saw the need for high quality part time classes here in Galway. Outside of the classroom he likes to play football, badly, but he’s pretty good at watching all kinds of sport. He reads a lot, mostly fiction but more and more history and current affairs these days.
Carmel joined Corrib English in 2017 and delivers the General English classes. She loves the classroom and the interaction with students from all around the world. She’s an incredibly artistic and creative person, qualities she brings to her lessons, which are imaginative, fun and lively. She’s read more books than you’ve had hot dinners and has a keen social conscience. Corrib English is very happy and lucky to have her as a teacher!
